FEARLESS…Riding the crest of the wave for Jesus!
God is moving on the Big Island of Hawaii and state wide! The Christian Women’s Gathering (CWG) is part of His call to the Body of Christ to unite, worship, pray, equip, and pass the torch of faith to the next generation! It is a movement offering a safe harbor for women who are still searching for answers to their innermost questions about life, about eternity!
The Christian Women’s Gathering began in 2004 in Big Bear, CA. This inter-denominational annual event has it’s foundation in the Holy Bible, God’s love letter to the world. Our mission is to be a vessel by which women can receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, to live a victorious life on earth, and eternal life in heaven. We are funded solely through donations and registrations.
Statement of Faith
We Believe…
…that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God. It is His Love letter to the world. (2 Timothy 3:16)
…in a Triune God, eternally existent in: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Mark 1:9-11)
…in the deity of Jesus Christ, His birth through a virgin, that He lived a sinless life, that He demonstrated the Father’s grace and mercy through miracles, signs and wonders. We believe that His death on the cross paid the price for our sins. We believe in His bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven and His bodily return in power and glory. (Gospels of Matt., Mark, Luke and John)
…that a person can only be saved and come into a right relationship with God by being “born again” through faith in Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross. (John 3:3-8,14-18; 14:6). “by grace you have been saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast”. Ephesians 2: 8,9
…that every believer is filled and uniquely equipped by the Holy Spirit with gifts to fulfill their calling to bring the Kingdom of God to a broken world. We believe that we have been given “the ministry of reconciliation.” (Acts 1: 8; 2 Corinthians 5: 18-21)
…in the bodily resurrection of the dead; for those who have been born again, eternal life with God (1 Thess. 4:14-18); for those who reject Christ and this free gift of salvation God offers to all who believe (John 3:16-18), eternal separation from God. (Romans 1:16-20, Revelation 20)
